You aren't losing the age value while its parked - it's still getting older - so much as any backlinks (if it ever had any) and any rankings of pages from the old site. (archive.org shows a blog up as recently as May '07)
149 related searches in pretty good, but Overture stopped updating in Jan '07 so what you are actually seeing is what people were searching for 12 months ago.
I'm not good at appraising though, you've already been offered more than I would have guessed.
