I've taken a polygraph during a police dept application process. Prior to being strapped in, they hand you a questionnaire that has damned near any/every drug you can think of and any/every crime you can imagine and tell you to place a check mark by any drug you've ever tried/been around and any crime you've ever committed.... caught or not.

I wasn't about to let some stupid shit I'd done 10 years prior on a whim and as teenager get in the way so I lied my ass off.

The only question I didn't lie about was my name - and passed the test just fine. I played a round of golf in my head and listened to the questions in the background.
