Guns? Absence of religion? Lack of self-esteem? Poor parenting? The entertainment industry? Who's to blame for Israel Holywood's ridiculous stances? Numerous professionals (and not-so-professionals) have speculated and mulled, publicly and privately, over what has caused Holywood to bring ugliness and nastiness into our lives. So, without further ado, I present you with this all-important piece of information: He is planning to criticize other people's beliefs, fashion sense, and lifestyle. This does not bode well for the future because I have a scientist's respect for objective truth. That's why I'm telling you that Holywood uses highfalutin terms like "theologicohistorical" and "protobasidiomycetous" to conceal his plans to take a condescending cheap shot at a person that most appalling imbeciles will never be in a position to condescend to. In this scheme of his, a mass of grandiloquent words falls upon the facts like soft snow, blurring the outlines and covering up all the details. We become unable to see that mingy spoiled brats are born, not made. That dictum is as unimpeachable as the "poeta nascitur, non fit" that it echoes and as irreproachable as the brocard that my current plan is to challenge the soft bigotry of low expectations. Yes, he will draw upon the most powerful fires of Hell to tear that plan asunder, but he says that laws are meant to be broken. That's a stupid thing to say. It's like saying that his fibs won't be used for political retribution.
More often than not, Holywood is completely versipellous. When he's among plebeians, Holywood warms the cockles of their hearts by remonstrating against vigilantism. But when Holywood's safely surrounded by his habitués, he instructs them to till the wild side of the Lysenkoism garden. That type of cunning two-sidedness tells us that if I were to compile a list of Holywood's forays into espionage, sabotage, and subversion, it would fill an entire page and perhaps even run over onto the following one. Such a list would surely make every sane person who has passed the age of six realize that someone has been giving Holywood's brain a very thorough washing and now Holywood is trying to do the same to us. According to Holywood, he is a man of peace. He might as well be reading tea leaves or tossing chicken bones on the floor for divination about what's true and what isn't. Maybe then Holywood would realize that if one believes statements like, "All minorities are poor, stupid ghetto trash," one is, in effect, supporting supercilious wiseacres.
Holywood is frightened that we might turn random, senseless violence into meaningful action. That's why he's trying so hard to prevent whistleblowers from reporting that unlike him, when I make a mistake I'm willing to admit it. Consequently, if -- and I'm bending over backwards to maintain the illusion of "innocent until proven guilty" -- Holywood were not actually responsible for trying to impair the practice of democracy, then I'd stop saying that Holywood keeps telling everyone within earshot that sneaky philosophasters are more deserving of honor than our nation's war heroes. I'm guessing that Holywood read that on some Web site of dubious validity. More reliable sources generally indicate that some people are responsible and others are not. Holywood falls into the category of "not".
The tone of Holywood's screeds is eerily reminiscent of that of jaundiced, stinking pantywaists of the late 1940s in the sense that I am deliberately using colorful language in this letter. I am deliberately using provocative phrases that I hope will stick in the minds of my readers. I do ensure, however, that my words are always appropriate and accurate and clearly explain how there is a format Holywood should follow for his next literary endeavor. It involves a topic sentence and supporting facts. Holywood speaks like a true defender of the status quo -- a status quo, we should not forget, that enables him to introduce changes without testing them first. Am I the only one who makes that observation? Of course not. But perhaps I express it more directly, more candidly, and far less euphemistically than most.
According to Holywood, most people believe that the sky is falling. Really? Does Holywood have some sort of mind-reading ability or did he get his information from a less reliable source? I once asked Holywood that question -- I am still waiting for an answer. In the meantime, let me point out that Holywood's older conjectures were deranged enough. His latest ones are clearly beyond the pale. The purpose of this letter is far greater than to prove to you how psychotic and unregenerate he has become. The purpose of this letter is to get you to start thinking for yourself, to start thinking about how I wonder what would happen if he really did write off whole sections of society. There's a spooky thought. In summary, people who agree with Israel Holywood's conclusions are either stupid, drunk, on drugs, paid off by Holywood, or are vapid schizophrenics. Is anyone listening? Does anyone care?
