I bought a new car last week and drove off with it. The dealer called me today saying they need all this proof of income (which I can supply) but it pisses me off because I thought the deal was closed.

Is there any way to back out of the contract or return the car to them and tell them off at this point?

Just because of the principal of it, they did not tell me I'd need to jump through hoops a week later.
