No problem - as for staining, do it like I did - cut all of the pieces outside and stain them there, then assemble it inside. An air nailer works best for tacking the panels onto the frame but screws are fine also.

Ya, I had planned to stain outside and bring it in, but the bar is going upstairs and it would be hard to bring it up in one piece if it's in an "L" shape. Then I thought to stain outside and assemble the two pieces upstairs, but I don't want any gaps in the seam where the two pieces meet. Normally I would run a bead of caulk down the seam and then stain the wood, so it all looks like one piece, but them I'm back to staining up on the carpet. Might just have to change my design, or just get some kind of decrative cap I can use to cover the seam up. Not sure yet.
