Maybe you should read the whole post before proclaiming your magnificence, we were talking about all blue eyed people coming from a common ancestor and in reading the article, they came to the conclusion that it's because of a special gene, I pointed out most all babies are born with blue eyes, they change later. My nephew was born with blue eyes, he now at 1 year old has brown eyes like his mother.

I'm a genetic match to my parents except for one thing, mother was born with blonde hair, dad with brown, I have black hair, there goes your DNA idea, if you read up on DNA, there are traits that pop up and skip generations.
