This is basically taking sales away from affiliates.

Say if Clickcash paid me the same as you but my surfers didn't need to enter CC info to join. Would you say "not cool but up to them" or would you be screaming foul. Not the same situation but I hope you see where I'm coming from.

or if you went to Ifriends directly, not thru' an affiliate link they would give you a 10 hour credit if you signed up there... would your sales be affected?

Basically what I'm saying is it doesn't seem fair for a company to be directly offering so much free content to surfers but not letting all it's affiliates do the same. I don't see that the same as non compete on domain name and other keywords.

Also as was stated earlier it seems weird that a company would let its content be used and be quite happy with other companies banners on the same page?

Seems it would have the same negative affect on us as affiliates as a torrent site or illegal tube site that has content for free that we are trying to get the surfer to pay for would have.

Yes I need to "evolve or die" etc not saying I'm not but it appears in this particular case the affiliates are being cut out of the deal.

Fair ? just don't use that company then. If the affiliates are being cut out, then they should move on to a better deal and not promote that company. That is such a simple and obvious solution you wouldnt think anyone would have to mention it.

There is a HUGE difference in what you are talking about here.

Point 1: if a company offers one thing to one affiliate and something less to you, then don't promote them. Thats not stealling. Some companies pay certain affiliates more per sale then they do others, is that stealing from the person who is paid less, no? is it fair ? If you don't like their policies don't use them.

The things I have problem with is companies who's policies steal from everyone else, whether is black and white such as with stolen content, or by using spyware to steal traffic. If clickcash offers you more money than me, or they offer their own traffic $10 free, fine. I decided if I want to use them or another company. No big deal. I might think it is shitty but shitty and stealing are two totally different things.

Point 2: Giving away content is not stealling if the company giving it away owns it or has rights to use it. It's not even close to stealing. If i give away a 10 minute clip and I make sales because of it, I am making sales. The more sales i make the less you make. In theory then, every sale I make would be stealling because that is one less sale you would make. It's called sales and marketing. 30 seconds videos, 2 min videos, 2 hour videos, if people want to use long videos, and they own the video, and they can make money from doing it, more power to them. They are not stealing from you. If they do it with stolen content then it is a different story.
