There is one flaw in the movie The Matrix
Or maybe it isn't a flaw and I just haven't figured it out yet, I don't know.
It's the part where Cypher (Joe Pantoliano) meets with Agent Smith for dinner to discuss the betrayal. The FLAW as I see it is... how can Cypher be meeting with Agent Smith, as in... 1. How did he get himself loaded into the matrix for that trip, and 2. someone has to be back on the ship doing the guiding, right? Every time the team goes into the matrix, in order to get back out they need to be guided to the nearest exit and brought back out by picking up a phone. But in Cypher's case there couldn't have been anyone guiding him because they would have known he was in proximity to an agent.
Thus, by the way the story goes and the rules therin there is no way Cypher could have gone in and met with Smith during that scene, and no way for him to get back out once the meeting was over.
I have to be missing something, there's no way the Warchumpsky brothers simply ignored a contradiction like this.
