Should Turbans Be Allowed In Major League Baseball?
This is a little follow up to the other post I made on immigrants in north america.
Would you be offended if MLB players were allowed to wear turbans instead of baseball caps? Would this change the look and feel of the American culture? To me, baseball (as well as other things) is a symbol of USA. Allowing an immigrant to wear a turbon on his head instead of a baseball cap is offensive in the same way a Canadian RCMP officer was allowed to wear his turban instead of the usual hat RCMP officers wear. In case you dont know, RCMP officers and what they wear is a symbol of canada, a turban is not.
