Meaningful relationships are out there, but very limited in number.
Because of all the pressures everyone has to deal with to make money, raise children, etc. you basically have to look at a potential spouse in ways beyond just the love factor. In the old days there was more clarity and structure. Now its a free for all out there.
I wouldn't strive to find a meaningful relationship. Just see whatever comes your way and hopefully some will be good. Most will be use jobs, so just prepare yourself mentally, financially, and emotionally for that to happen and you won't be caught off guard.
