This is why a bunch of politicians are primarily concerned with the provision in the wiretapping bill extension (that was NOT passed) that exempts private companies from lawsuits.
Remember a week ago before Bush went to Africa and was saying how much danger we'd be in because democrats refused to deal with the bill? And instead wanted to debate about the fired federal prosecutors? And the republicans all walked out? It was all over this issue.
