No, the church died in many countries, one of the best things that the Iron Curtain brought to the central and eastern Europe (apart from Poland).

In Europe it's Spain, Italy, Poland that are comparable with States, although the rest of the western Europe countries should also be at least formally considered to be religious.

You can't shoot content in Italy for example so all the Italian productions are made abroad and the population is jerking off like crazy.

Czech is 21 pct. believers (any reliegion), Lithuania 16 pct. believers, the church shuts the fuck up cause it has money but no public support and only geronts and weird people usually remain organized in religion.

For the rest - religiosity is a private thing and not anything to show off.
