You have not been there in awhile it seems...can't walk or hike to anywhere near "The Toilet Bowl" since a couple of teenagers drowned there a few years ago.
Hanauma Bay's water has cleared up dramatically since visitors have not been allowed to feed the fish.

You have to hike all the way to the end of the Bay, and around the corner to get there.
Why it's called the toilet bowl, is that when the tide goes out, so does most of the water, in a sort of riptide effect - and then when the tide comes back in, it floods in, at a very high velocity through holes in the coral, usually blasting you up in the waves, and sometimes into the air.
This all takes place in regular intervals of about 15 seconds or so.
It's lots of fun, unless of course, you slam into the coral...
