Most of the time though, the person being called a "Fag" really isn't one, the term is only meant to demean that particular person and no one else.
Same with "Retard". Same with any word used like that. Is saying "Are you fucking blind?" a slur against blind people? I don't fucking think so.
God, we can't even insult each other without first checking with the "politically correct" fucking HANDBOOK.
I suppose the whole "For Dummies" set of how-to books is a slur against people of lesser intel? (Should I have been offended all these years?)
