Well, yesterday I contacted Paul's registrar explaining the situation. I wasn't and am still not fully 100% sure that it was a false whois report which took the site down as I have not received a written response from the registrar, nor been able to contact Paul yet, but following the outbreak of phony false whois reports against domains of my own and associated with me I am still fairly positive. Either way the site appears to be back online as of a half hour or so ago. So hopefully everything holds together for the time being. If anyone has any suggestions as to how Paul can better the licensing system I'm sure he'd gladly listen to them, but at the moment I think that this is the best method he has for protecting his script from illicit unlicensed use.
I'd like to personally apologize to the UUGallery license holders for any inconvenience this may have caused over the past couple of days. I didn't think fucktard Chuck would go as far as to start slamming false whois reports against people and sites other than my own in our little dispute.
