Suggestions:

- Buy a small hand drum, and learn to play and leave it laying around your pad
- Get some harmonicas and start playing in spare time (just pick some instrument, and start playing around with it. Harmonicas and drums are just simple, and don't require lots of experience or equipment. But any musical instrument will do.
- Learn to juggle (takes less than a week, hour or 2 a day)
- Associate with more interesting people
- Attend some various sporting events
- Start some small collections, not of bizarre things..but things that you won't mind still having around when you're 60, and can give to the grandkids.
- Read a book on speed reading...then
- Read some books on topics you enjoy, or things that you need to know anyways
- Go to Borders or Barnes and Noble and pick up a dozen different magazines on topics you wouldn't normally read. Maybe photography, maybe woodworking, maybe yauchts, gold mining, guns, or advertising. Then pick a couple of those and subscribe for a year. When they arrive at the door, just throw them on top of your toilet, you'll end up reading them...LoL!
