Since MAS can support multiple templates for movies based upon the file type (which I required), you can do it in stages, so you won't have any downtime; some movies will use the (new) embedded flash player, some will continue to embed the WMV, which was the reason for my suggestion.

I'll have to ask them again about it. As far as re-encoding the content... I have 3 Macs that can sit and batch encode using a program called Episode so not really an issue, fact my plan is to re-encode from DV anyways and actually do a little editing as I go this time...
