a good friend had some installed once while in japan, but too many chicks would freak when they saw it, figuring he had some sort of diease and that they were full of pus instead of pearls, even over in Nippon... he showed me once, and it was pretty grotesque looking. needless to say, he had them removed eventually, and said that hurt worse than having them installed..
