I quit smoking weed in high school when I realized how much it was holding me back. I'm still friends with pot smokers, I sometimes hang out with them in their 1 bedroom apts and parents basements.
P.S. These are kids who smoke weed a daily basis though, not on the weekends or a few times a month. Ive met plenty of people who smoke weed just socially when they are partying and are very successful.
