I can't believe the box says "you can use the strips back to back"! Ouch.

bausch - Thanks for sharing your experience. Some of those quotes from other sites made me laugh, but there's a lot of truth in them. I haven't gotten any headaches but the shit hurts. At least it's not a boob job or nose job or calf implants or something like that. ("self-inflicted pain for the sake of vainness" is the best! lol!)
  • I'm just going to go balls out and get it over with. I have a week of strips left. I skipped yesterday and the pain went from really hurting to almost really hurting. Not much of a difference.
  • I was using sensodyne before starting the white strips.
  • I accidentally grabbed a piece of gum yesterday and it felt like my teeth all had fillings and I was chewing aluminum foil.
  • Pain occurs when I drink anything, even room temperature water or when I breathe air through my mouth, or when I chew on solid foods like steak. A sandwich is the worst with the meat, cold veggies, and mayo. Hot coffee? Forget it! Have you ever had a cavity and you eat something that's sweet or hot/cold and it hurts? The entire tooth feels like that.

The good thing is the strips cover 6-8 teeth on the upper and bottom portion so you're good to use your back molars for chewing but that's tough to do constantly.

Something else I noticed... my teeth are whiter and it's noticeable. But when I look in the mirror I see that there's a bit of yellow between my teeth. So now when I put the strips on I'm going to go slow and use my fingernail to push them slightly in between each space in hopes of making contact with what's visible to others.
