You can't blame your problems on inatimate objects. Its like blaming the car when someone gets into an accident. If alcohol was the reason people became alcoholics, then everyone would be one. The vice really makes no difference. People can become addicted to anything, food, sex, gas fumes. Not being able to live life without that "good" feeling isn't an objects fault.
