Dude, if the wound is turning black, you really need to get to an emergency room. It could be the beginning of gangrene. Dried blood is a very dark red. By law the emergency rooms have to take you and treat you even if you don't have insurance. Also, by law, they have to accept a payment deal you can live with ($20 /month, for example)
