Just saw this thread... Count me in. Just sent you an email Dez. I have been sold on this game for a while now. Oddly enough this is the first game I was not able to get a beta account for, no clue why. I have beta tested everything from old school MUDs to UO, EQ, WoW, etc.
But I am pre ordered and ready to rumble. Finally a PVP system that doesn't rely on you locking down your opponent with stuns locks or fears or whatever. That shit gets old in WoW sometimes.

I was wondering... can the beta characters you create be carried over to the real game starting on 5/20. I know when Guild Wars started up, they reset all the beta chars to lvl1 on release day.Comment

I think retail stores found the clue on pre-order cancellations, I think they are purpopsely removing pre-orders from more sales 30 days prior so noone cancels.. with the thought of consumer not being able to get a copy if it does turn out well.. its a clever idea and worked on me.. i really want to cancel, but i might regret it :/Delete this account, i am done hereComment

Are you going going in the PVE or PVP server at launch? I just did a level 20 real quick on the PVP server and OMG that was the gayest fucking shit I have ever seen... No way you will find me a in a PVP server... It seriously is stupid... I mean 6 year old stupid..
I guess its siege wars or bust for me...
Hopefully they are pulling something out of their ass in the next week cuz so far this game dissappoints as closed beta is right now.. Its so unbalanced, so glitchy, so buggy, so not
interesting.. I just am not feeling it... and i been waiting for this for 2.5 years on a daily basis

Strange with all the cancellations. The game is great and yes I played on the real beta. Trust me if the game sucked in any way shape or form I wouldnt bother posting anything about it. Like any game there will be some bugs the first few months just like wow which was almost unplayable because of server stability issues,class imbalances, que times, and haxing. I am going to invest time into this game because it will be worth it. At the end of the day level 20 is level 20 and just like wow level 20 pvp is balls unless you have a twink. Even with a twink you still are lacking a ton of spells and abilities at such a low level. Honestly level 40 is where AOC starts to become amazing. Here is my character from wow http://www.wowarmory.com/character-s...gath&n=Hotbeef I'm pretty much one of the most geared shadowpriests on the server and you can bet your ass im going to put that much effort into AOC.

hmmm, Im not sure I'm digging the fighting interface on this. It's so positional. And the special moves and kinda complicated it seems. I guess one would get use to it. I'll give it a try though. Getting tired of WOW but still addicted. 3 70's full Veng... lol rogue/spriest/shammy
I wonder how hard it will be to fight. It looks like you have to block and move defesivly and use the shield thing. And offensivly it's very directional and unlike the wow button mashing you have to memorize special moves. hmmmmComment
