You can have a gun... in fact, it's recommended to have a machinegun. AK47s sell there for practically nothing. If you are white, you actually will have to use that gun if you want to survive more than few days (if you are lucky).
You can become a handsome pirate there and kidnap tuna fishing ships, then demand lots of money as rescue. YARRR
