I had a finger injury as well.
My middle finger on my left hand got to meet Mr. Tablesaw. I never experienced so much pain in my life. The saw blade cut directly into my finger so it didn't really cut the tip off. Half my fingernail was gone and there was blood everywhere. My boss at the time said it wasn't that bad and made me keep working. After soaking blood through 5 band aids I decided that it was time to go to the doctor. Got to soak my finger in iodine and got cool finger condoms. My left middle finger now is slightly deformed. I hate tablesaws now.
