It also kills alot of small biz owners who are just getting by. Just ask the people of massachusetts how they feel about it since Romney and Ted put that shit into law.

So everyone else is supposed to pick up thier medical bill? I have a friend that doesn't make a whole lot and does pay a ton in child support and claims he can't afford insurance for himself or his kids and also can't afford to put any money away for them in a college funds. Sounds reasonable considering his circumstances. BUT he CAN afford cigarettes and beer. He buys meats and cheese from the deli and buy the higher end breads and shit isntead of going for the cheaper generic versions. He buys the "name brand" clothes instead of getting the Faded Glory clothes from wal-mart. He moved last year and got place 5 miles from town and he drives a SUV. Real smart move for someone who is always broke.
So in reality he COULD afford insurance he chooses to spend his money on other things and I'm supposed to pick up the difference? He's not the only one I see tons of people in my town that get food stamps and magically have money for cigareetes and beer. If you stop smoking and drinking you'd have enough for food.
In my state you HAVE to have car insurance. So how is this different? Anyways medical saving accounts should count toward insurance and be tax deductable.
I don't if the government takes care of things like childhood immunizations or subsidzing flu shots since these things pay off.
