These kind of horror stories made me get pet insurance when I got my pup about 6 months ago. 30 bucks month.
I look at it this way...would I rather spend $2000 in five years for nothing, or $2000 in 5 minutes because of a swallowed stick. I'll take the five year plan, cause chances are good that my dog will get sick or injured -- and he's turning out to be a little neckbreaker.
