I currently use Bell Satellite internet and I tell you, it SUCKS

It's unidirectional, it's rather unreliable, but it's BETTER than the 26.4 dialup which is the max I can get in the boonies where I live. However some of the other satellite systems are bidirectional, but they have HUGE initial costs (generally upwards of $1500 at least to start) and cost about $150-$300 per month for the service. No matter what you aren't going to get anything near comparable to what you would have in a city
And with the unidirectional satellite, the satellite is for download, it still requires you to pay for a dialup connection, and it uses that connection for uploads. Paying the satellite AND the dialup accounts, expect to pay in the area of $90/month for internet.
