That's because all the frames from the video could be read, because it was properly encoded in the first place. There's nothing me, the script, God, or anybody else can do, if the source videos contain frames which cannot be read.
And it doesn't matter if the video works on Youtube, because Youtube has it's own conversion technology. They have millions of dollars to invest and develop that, and don't need to rely on opensource/free software to handle the conversion.
The video actually gets converted, but the thumbnails cannot be created, and it most certainly it has to do with the encoding of the exported files.
When you export video files with that software, perhaps it has an option or something to allow you to export wmv8 video type, not wmv9. I'm not sure if this will work, but it's something worth trying.

Sorenson don't have this option but I guess it is also ridiculous to get back to WMV8, less quality in picture and sound. We are using Finalcur Pro and Sorenson Pro
