I lived in the Florida Panhandle when I was in the Air Force in '96. Read a weird flying animal story in the local paper once. Some guy was driving his truck down a two-lane road near the base and hit a large deer. A car was coming the opposite way and when the deer was struck it flew through the air into the next lane and went through the windshield of the oncoming car, decapitating the driver. The car went off the road and struck a tree which fell over onto the car.
Must have sucked to be the driver of that truck.
Must have sucked even more to be the driver of the car.
