Hello,

My name is Joel Brenner and I have suffered from chronic anxiety, and agoraphobia, which brings on seizures since 1981. My doctors have diagnosed it as a a major disability under the American with Disability Act.

For the last 4 years I have worked with a very well train and gentle service dog. She helps me in numerous ways and has provided me with a better life. She goes into the hospital with me, the dentist, restaurants, the beach-pretty much anywhere I go.

On Wednesday, December 20th, I was walking by A tattoo place "Hart & Huntington" the one on TV and though it would be neat to get one (I have a few) so I walked in to get information.

As soon as I walked in this burly man told me to get out. I tried to hand him my ADA card and he again said "get now, we don't allow dogs! Again I tried to explain that this was not a pet, but a service animal, but he would not listen. There must have been 8-10 people sitting in the waiting area watching. The third time I said that I am disabled..and he said "you don't look blind to me" and laughed...a few of he people around joined in. As soon as 2 other huge "bouncer like" employees walked towards me, I felt I could not breath and hurried out. That's the last I remember. Witnesses said that walked a few feet and collapsed. Someone called 911.

The Fire Department Paramedics arrived shortly and put me in rescue truck and took my vitals I was told that they were in the danger zone. The kept me there for about a half hour or so, and was released.

I was advised to go to the Police station and fill out a report, but they said that no crime was committed and they refused to make one out.

I am really just seeking a written apology and for them to be educated so the trauma I went through doesn't happen to another soul. ( Well a donation to my trainer/breeder would be nice) Just because they are celebrities doesn't mean they are outside the law and are able to knock the layman down.
