man ohrack brings back memories!

i used to read phrack heavily, like 10 years ago. it was a great little newsletter/zine. i don't see any issues with any of that. if you go through the entire membership of gfy, i'm sure you're going to find many people who played around hacking shit when they were younger. i went to a few 2600 meetings, read k-line and others, was also a member on phonelosers. payphones supplied me hours of entertainment. whent he new nortel millenium payphones came out, shit was crazy, lol. for years i had no internet connection. so i played around on phones. one day i picked up a scrapped 56k modem for wardialing from a buddy and started playing with that. i went for nearly a couple years piggybacking other people's internet accounts. this was when people paid hourly for dialup too. a couple hours on one account, and hour on another. hell once you had one login, it was easy enough to pick up more. scan entire ip ranges for open trojan ports, and dig through their saved password files. i had a 100+ internet accounts to play with at any given time.

brings back memories of downloading poor quality scans of playboy centerfolds, and crappy fakes of britney spear's head cut/pasted onto pornstars bodies. hahaha.

would have been much easier if everyone just had unprotected wireless access points back then, haha.
