Most of the big SUVs (Audi Q7 for example) get lower scores than smaller cars, designed with safety in mind.
I am not talking about anything other than the common accidents you see on the roads every day which are people smashing into you. If you do not think that being in a car that weights 2x as much as the car smashing into you then have fun. Some douchebag ran into me with a small car a few months ago and I hardly felt it while their car was smashed pretty bad in the front. This is proof enough for me I feel safer in a big car.
