I have a friend with a house on the market for $2M. There's a lot of what we call "land rich" people around here - people who have ived on the same property for generations in a multitude of single wides - someone gets married, they buy them a single wide and stick it on the family's land (though not quite as elaborate as the first post, lol).
Now that the land is being developed, they are overnight millionaires. My friend's house is very "comfortable". Nothing fancy - a house you know you could sit down and put your feet up in.
A group of the "land rich" folks came to look at it and deemed it "too faaaaanceeee" ;)
