Think of it this way...

A little old lady gets her purse snatched (chrome). A crowd of onlookers witness the crime and give chase (GFY webmasters). They catch the purse snatcher and begin to kick the living shit out of him. He has no choice but to give back the purse. The little old lady then praises her purse snatcher for being a "stand up guy" and "doing the right thing." It's absurd.
