Global Crossing made a $150,000 error on one of our bills around 5 months ago. Ever since then we have been disputing the overage, still paying all our bills every month on time. Every month their bill was approximately right, however it showed we owed $150,000 for the error they said that would be fixed.
Last month after the bill still was not corrected we got our attorneys involved. GBLX then replied they decided our dispute was invalid, and that they would send us an updated invoice, which was due by March 27th. Our attorney since then had further corresponce, telling them why they were incorrect etc.
Out of the blue tonight at 5pm CST we all of a sudden lost our internet connection. After talking to the Vice President of Carrier sales, he told us we were disconnected. This was with NO WARNING, and in clear violation of everything they have sent us, and everything that has gone on to this point. Yet no one we talk to will do anything about it.
Bottom line is Global Crossing is in major term-oil. They have fired 90% of their staff, and everyone is so afraid of losing their job they won't do anything. There is only one person supposably that could help us, and no one knows how to contact her till morning. Everything as we speak is being rerouted and switch to other providers. We hope to have everything running back to normal by tommorow afternoon.
We also are going to sue the hell out of global crossing, they have clearly broken their contracts with us. We will be naming every one of our clients in these lawsuits, and when they are settled they will be part of the settlement.
