I hope I don't sound rude by saying this but I would not say I had a 50th anniversary if it was a fake nor would I be stupid enough to put 50th Anniversary Badges on a 50k dollar automobile.
But in answer to your question, Yes they did make a "Special Edition" 50th anniversary corvette that was like a maroon or a purple color on light grey interior i believe.
A girls' vette.
But
Every 2003 vette came with 50th anniversary badges. And all 2003 vettes are 50th anniversary editions. As the first vette was made in 1953.
