Company is approved by VISA to serve Canadian-based online merchants.

TEMPE, Ariz. - CCBill, a global e-commerce solutions provider, is now a Visa approved payment gateway and service provider for Canadian-based online merchants.
In 2002, Visa International instituted new rules and regulations for international regions in relationship to how Internet payment service providers and sponsored merchants would be permitted to accept VISA transactions. Unfortunately, these rules and regulations left the majority of Canadian-based merchants with limited or no options for processing their Visa transactions.
"The past few years have been challenging for Canadian based online merchants, especially since such a strong percentage of all Internet sales are on the Visa network," said Ron Cadwell, CEO of CCBill.
