Those reasons don't make the platform superior. Your assertions simple mean that Microsoft is better at marketing, that's all.
Microsoft had a year's head start, which is huge in the gaming world. The PS3 was delayed by both the wait time for the new Cell processor (which makes it the most powerful gaming system on the planet) and the resolution time in dealing with blu-ray DRM issues.
By the time the PS3 rolled around, developers had already become comfortable with the Xbox development cycle, not to mention that designing for the PS3 involves a bit more concentration on the Cell processor as opposed to the GPU (
the only thing in the xbox that is technically superior).
Microsoft has an aggressive game title selection process and they know about creating communities. The latter gave them the advantage in terms of Xbox Live.
The PS3 will pick up even more as the industry's processing demands grow. It's just a matter of time.
