Basicly if she is more than 2 weeks overdue, she should be scheduled for a C-Section.  If she's not 2 weeks overdue, then listen to whatever the doc tells you.

The fetus's age can be determined within 3 days. Using a ultrasound, the computer literally spits out the age of the baby in womb and then gives you a due date.
They will also induce labor before doing a C-Section.
