Sounds like this:
Soviet Union won a war in Afghanistan within minutes. The Amin's regime was out. That was supposedly mission accomplished. During all the operation Russian special forces lost only 10 soldiers. In fact after we wrecked Amin's leadership the USSR should have bailed Afghanistan and closed the book and let them people rebuild their own way.
But actually you know the truth. ANY war can be considered as won (mission accomplished and blah-blah-blah), only when your soldiers will stop arriving their homes in coffins
