1. I graduated from Youngstown State University in Ohio, which is the only college or university in the country to have a penguin as a mascot.

2. I was born in Huntington, WV, and my dad was a student at Marshall University when the football team's plane went down in 1970. He was supposed to pick up one of the players who lived next door. (Watch "We Are Marshall, great movie.)

3. I've had one tattoo for the past 18 years, but I still think about getting a second.

4. I worked in mainstream newspapers for 17 years before coming to work at AVN last year.

5. When I worked at the college newspaper at YSU, I actually said my dream job would be working at AVN.

6. I now have three dogs and two cats ... I had to put my 16 1/2-year-old keeshond mix down in June and it almost killed me. I still cry about her.

7. I was born on Valentine's Day and I have a brother who was born on Christmas Day.

8. Not a week goes by that someone, somewhere doesn't sing either "Sherry Baby" or "Oh, Sherrie" to me.

9. I once stole a plate that Franco Harris (one of the all-time greatest Pittsburgh Steelers football players) ate from. Go Stillers!

10. I have an uncanny ability to retain the most useless trivia.

Bonus: I have an odd fascination with serial killers, and even own a piece of brick from the house where Sharon Tate was murdered by the Manson Family.
