Semi-New to Business

I just wanted to take a moment and say Hi. I am semi new to the business. I shot some video work a few years ago but never got heavily involved in the business after that. But ever since I did that work, I have been thinking of coming back and giving it a shot this time, 100%.

I realize the business is not as lucrative as it was back then but I still want to give adult a shot. How hard would it be to make a decent living just starting out? I have a ton of respect for you guys and don't expect to come right in and make $$$$. Many of you have been working long and hard at this. Please know that I come in with a ton of respect and admiration for you guys.

Right now, I don't have any web or marketing skills but I am adequate behind the camera, both video and stills. Could someone make a decent living $40-50k/yr just shooting and providing content?

I would like to one day run my own site but I have a lot to learn and do not expect someone to take me under their wing. I am very familiar with record keeping and the various laws and certain niches. I would even be willing to offer 25% of all my future revenues if someone would be willing to help me along with learning how to design a site, find a good niche, teach me a little about traffic trades etc...

If not, I understand and thank you for your time. I just want to work hard and break away from the 9to5 shit.

I can shoot HD content exclusively and edit as well. I can deliver in multiple formats if desired.

Any advice is greatly appreciated.
