What do you think, how many people can be killed during such a military action?
P.S. Georgia has not warned Ossetia on starting a war. Furthermore, 2 hour before the attack, Georgian president told on TV that he is going for a peaceful negotiation "tomorrow". That sounded like: "Dear Ossetian people sleep well this night, nothing bad will happen". What a scoundrel!

yea, i was reading about this thursday night/friday morning.. the article stated that the georgians were shelling outside the town, waiting for everyone to leave.
i highly doubt they would have risked alienating the population of such a town, especially since they want to get into NATO.
Believe it or not, people in europe and north america do not like people dying. there would be a lot said about 1300 dead in a night
