Today she had a bloody nose. It was crazy I came upstairs and there were pools of blood on the floor! And splatters because she kept snorting. I hysterically rushed her to the vet. They said it is usually either an infection form a tic or tumors. If it is a tumor, there won't been anything they can do. So, tonight she is at the vet on an IV.
It was a pretty rough day. She has been a wonderful dog. Anyway.. I don't usually share personal news but it was such a crazy event. That my head is still spinning.
Incidently I discovered that Lysol disinfectent wipes take blood stains out of carpet!

hello,
I am sorry to hear about your dog and I hope everything turns out for the best. If your dog does end up having a tumor and your vet says theres nothing that can be done that is not always the case. My dog became ill and our vet told us she was going to die, we got 2 other opions, 1 vet agreed saying that nothing could be done and we tried another and the vet said there is always a try and we tried and our dog is happy as ever doing fine. Depending on the tumor size and where its located makes all the differnce in the world. Also the only thing is cost, if you have the money I would suggest fighting for your dog, 12-13 is still young for a dog nowadays. a lot of dogs can live to be 18-20 yrs old now.
Once again I wish you the best, and I hope you let us know what happends.
