Is there a way to swing a golf club at a persons head without ill intent? I went down to the ground and lost quite a bit of blood. The guy took off and cops were called but I got his plate number. I had gotten off a freeway to inspect if there were damages to my car when the guy came out of nowhere. It all started in a freeway area where it narrows to 1 lane with a ton of those barrels. The guy cut me off and ran me into a bunch of barrels because he not only cut me off too close but slammed on his brakes. Since I hit barrels anyway I passed the fucker and slowed down to the speed limit. He then crossed the barrels into the construction area just to cross back in and slam on his brakes. Which I once again simply went around. this happened again and I was trying to get off the next exit when the guy blocked the exit parking diagonal which once he saw me start to get out he took off. I pulled up out of the way of traffic and got out to look at my car for damages when the guy comes up with a driver in his hand. I said the usual things like what are you doing with the golf club? if you want to fight drop the club and fight like a man. thats when he hit me with the club and ran off.

I know I would have been able to kick the guys ass if he didn't have the club. Once I got hit by it though it was straight above my ear and I went dizzy and couldn't do a thing. my sun glasses ended up the other side of my car.

I have the name and number of 2 guys who saw it. They both said I wasn't doing anything that appeared even close to threatening.

I can understand road rage leading to fist fights but WTF? Getting hit by a GOLF CLUB? I was in a good area not far outside of South Bend with nothing but white people anywhere around.

My wifes a nurse and I've passed all possible tests but over 7 hours later I'm still bleeding. Normally I would take out the sewing kit and stitch myself but I can't reach this area. I've stitched myself up a dozen times for various things so as long as you REMOVE them properly it is safe to stitch yourself but it just hurts like hell but i'm tough. She won't stitch me so i'll probably make a trip to the ER for stitches sometime tonight.

i'll get a copy of the police report tomorrow and see how I feel. Personal lawsuits like this can only cover expenses but the lawyer takes a % so like I said those are ALWAYS a losing cause. After I get the Police report I think ill call the guys work and inform them he was wearing their shirt and fax the police report likely get the guy fired. Hopefully he'll get hit with the full felony and not plead down. Guys like this need some serious shit to come down on them. Some old friends of mine used to get into fist fights purely from being bored. I understand fist fights, they can actually be quite fun but to use a golf club is just crazy.
