I agree with you, I usually tap the person on the shoulder and say "you're up". In fact, in the grocery line if I have a lot of stuff and the person behind me has just one or two items I will often let them go through ahead of me. |
I applaud your courtesy, so many people are only polite to people that they feel they need to be polite to.
