The protectivelinking would work great in this scenario, maximum privacy.. but how the hell do you do that.. lol

your going to create an html page for every link? wow, thats going to be a project eh?
what you probably need is some click tracking software. i use one i had created for SEM & PPC tracking. in the UI you enter the URL and it would spit out a coded url.
such as you enter
http://www.sponsorsite.com/affid=youraffiliatecode and it would output
http://www.mysite.com/id=3 but redirect to the original URL. I had it set up for time stamping and such for clicks
