It's predicted in not just in Mayan depictions but many European and Middle Eastern Lore.

The exact date is derived from both Nastra damaus and the Mayans whom could not see beyond 2012.
Yeah I do believe in some things that are "metaphysical" and this is one of them. If it does not happen in 2012 I am cool with that awesome, however when ya look at the belts and asteroid movements that have been mathmatically calculated we are gonna start hitting some serious shit.
Here takea good read this one has links to actual events and NASA events and Nasa information releases relating to Nibiru.

Check it out if ya want to freak out. THe information there all checks out I was in disbelief myself but checked the sources and realised this is pretty spooky and can possibly and inevitably will occur in given time.

The idea of not being able to see past 2012, isn't because of death. Let me explain.
The alignment created on those dates sets our planet right in the middle of our solar system, in a rip. Starting this year, we started to move into this rip, in 4 years we will be directly in line with the black hole in the middle of our galaxy.
What has already started, is an increase in the vibration of life. Right now everything from the wall, you, to air, everything vibrates and it all does it at a different rate, to form a wall, air, you, ect.
As we move into the rip more, it's vibration is millions of times stronger than anything around us, so it will move "everything" to match its vibration.
Sooo... the theory is, this massive new scale of vibration/sound - is going to awaken all the other senses we have. Ones we don't know about and can't even comprehend. As we build up to this, some people won't be able to take it - so part of the world will go nuts while the other part awakens and starts to see what's really going on.
At least it has a possible happier ending than being blasted away by a super rock.
