I think it's fine. If you like the guy and he likes you, then why not ask if there's something in particular you want to do with him.
I just gotta find the right guy to ask. Haven't run across a right one in a long long time.
Baseball, football (once baseball is done), theater (movies and live), dinners out... Dang I'm boring.
